Oh those Croatian Islands and Coastline!

With more than a thousand islands and a coastline that stretches more than a thousand miles, from Slovenia to Montenegro, as it winds around tremendous peninsulas, the entire shoreline of Croatia offers 3,625 miles of spectacular sailing.

Stunning scenery, hidden coves, picturesque harbor villages, water polo fields in the sea, former pirate caves, curious dolphins, and crystal clean water beckon the adventurous onto private catamarans, luxury yachts, speed boats, chartered sailing vessels, public ferries, and kayaks.

We are thrilled to offer 2 of our own custom chartered cruises for 2017. And if those dates don’t work, we love to create a perfect journey along the gorgeous Croatia coast, sprinkling in exciting experiences and local interactions.

The Adriatic Sea is a highly desirable sailing destination.  Its rich and storied maritime history dates from ancient Illyrian, Greek, and Roman empires through the Venetian Merchant era, the Austro-Hungarian empire, the Yugoslav period to today.  The legacy cities are fascinating with their colorful culture while the delicious and varied cuisines connect you to the historical influences with ultra-fresh, locally sourced, ingredients.

Having just returned from five weeks in Croatia, and the region, I can promise you it never “gets old” and I feel blessed to discover and experience new places and emerging opportunities each time. I enjoyed the unique marvels of the islands Vis, Biševo, Trogir, Čiovo, Lošinj, and Cres on this most recent visit.  Pamela and I also flew on the new seaplane service, which was not only a big time saver, it was an incredible way to see the beautiful islands, boats, and crystalline waters.
