Dugi Otok
Literally translated, this island’s name means ‘long island’, stretching 28 miles along the Dalmatian coast. It is located close to Zadar on the mainland and easily reachable by ferry from the city.
The southern part of the island is covered by Telašćica Nature Park, which has vivid landscapes of mesmerizing contrasts. Take time to explore the dramatic cliffs, towering 650 feet over the water, and the saltwater lake, Mir. Telašćica Bay, which is protected from the wind, has lovely still and clear waters. The nature park is wonderful to walk through, with breathtaking views over the Adriatic Sea.
Dugi Otok has meadows full of flowers, olive groves, and rich Mediterranean vegetation, with over 300 plant species. The small town of Bozava can be found on the northwestern side of the island, surrounded by towering pine trees.

Omiš
