Day 1 Mestre, Italy
Individual arrival to Mestre Hotel. Overnight Mestre.

Day 2 Mestre – Venice – Lake Bled, Slovenia (B, D)
Meet your dedicated tour leader at the hotel reception between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. Depart towards Venice for an enchanting sightseeing tour of this unique floating city. Enjoy a guided walking tour with an English-speaking guide, followed by a delightful lunch. Continue towards the picturesque Bled, Slovenia. Overnight in the serene Bled or Bohinj Lake area.

Day 3 Bled/Bohinj (B)
Enjoy a relaxing tour of the stunning glacier Lake Bled, one of Slovenia's most popular destinations for its picturesque settings. After a serene Bled boat ride, enjoy leisure time on the island. Afterwards visit the historic Bled Castle to admire the breathtaking views of the city, lake, and surrounding mountains. On a clear day, you can see Slovenia’s highest peak, Mount Triglav. Our final stop of the day is the tranquil Lake Bohinj, a well-kept secret brimming with photo opportunities. Overnight in the Bled or Bohinj Lake area.

Day 4 Bled/Bohinj – Klagenfurt – Wörth Lake – Bled/Bohinj (B, L)
Today, visit the neighboring country of Austria, where you will be treated to stunning views of the Alps. In the historic county of Carinthia, enjoy a panoramic tour of the picturesque 20 km-long Lake Wörth. Continue to the charming town of Klagenfurt, a university town featuring the beautiful Lindworm fountain in the old city square, the Altplatz. After the visit, enjoy lunch in the Klagenfurt area before returning to the Bled Lake area. Overnight in the Bled or Bohinj Lake area.

Day 5 Bled – Ljubljana & Postojna – Rovinj/Vrsar (B, D)
Before heading to Croatia, visit the enchanting capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, for a captivating walking tour. Next, explore the magnificent Postojna Cave, one of the largest underground cave systems in Europe, renowned for its wondrous geological formations and home to the mysterious olm.
In the late afternoon, arrive on the coast of Croatia's largest peninsula, Istria.
Enjoy dinner and overnight in Rovinj or Vrsar.

Day 6 Rovinj/Vrsar – Istria tour (B, T, T)
Start the day with sightseeing of Rovinj, one of the most precious jewels of the Istrian Coast. Stroll through the labyrinthine cobbled streets, revealing the rich history and picturesque views of this stunning peninsula. Head towards inner Istria to sample one of its tastiest treasures, the truffle. Experience a unique sensory delight with an olive oil tasting session, savoring the green scent and flavors of various extra virgin olive oils at a renowned local producer.
Visit the well-preserved amphitheater in Pula, a jewel of the 3000-year-old city. Overnight in Rovinj or Vrsar.

Day 7 Rovinj/Vrsar – Opatija – Fuzine (Lake Bajer) – Plitvice Lakes (B, L, D)
Travel from Croatia’s biggest peninsula through the delightful town of Opatija, where you can enjoy leisure time exploring magnificent villas, old hotels, and the scenic Lungomare promenade. Visit Angiolina Park or enjoy a coffee at Wagner's terrace. Continue through the lush Gorski Kotar Region to the picturesque town of Fužine and explore the Vrelo Cave. Relish a heart-warming lunch at the traditional restaurant Bitoraj, before continuing to the water wonderland of Plitvice Lakes. Dinner and overnight in the Plitvice Lakes area.

Day 8 Plitvice Lakes – Split (B, D)
After breakfast, be enchanted by the labyrinth of evergreen woods and lakes interconnected by stunning waterfalls at the UNESCO-protected Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of the world’s most impressive national parks.
Continue to Split for a short evening walk through the UNESCO World Heritage site, exploring Diocletian's Palace, the Grgur Ninski Statue, and the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St. Domnius. Overnight in Split.

Day 9 Split - Departure Day
After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye. Transfer to Split Airport or join one of our Deluxe Cruises from Split to Dubrovnik (sold separately).
