The start of 2020 has been difficult for all of us. Normal life has been disrupted and on a worldwide scale the impact has been felt from Croatia to Costa Rica. As the weather begins to warm up in the Northern Hemisphere and we grow tired of jigsaw puzzles, TikTok videos and Netflix shows, the prospect of travel arises.
For many it’s too early to think of travel. Understandably so. But, with the impact of lockdown only heightening people’s lust for adventure, some are beginning to speculate on the future of travel in a post COVID-19 world. Certainly, when travel does pick up again you can be sure to find a warm welcome in Europe, particularly in Croatia.

When Can We Travel Again?
In the short term, optimists predict early summer, others say it may be longer. For now, even with the progress of the world flattening the curve, we must be patient. However, in the medium to long term, we are seeing an unusual trend unfold with many already looking to the future.
Spot The Opportunity
With any event that impacts on a global scale, trends appear. And while the majority follow these trends based on their own intuition and from what others do, there are some that spot an opportunity. With many trips for 2020 being moved to 2021 and the appetite for travel only growing by the day, there is the prospect of a bumper year of travel in 2021.
