Visiting: ZAGREB – PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK – SPLIT – HVAR – STON – DUBROVNIK – KONAVLE    


 

Day 1                                                        ZAGREB ARRIVAL  

Itinerary:

  • Arrival to Zagreb on a flight TBA.
  • Meet your driver at the gate for a transfer from the airport to the hotel in Zagreb.
  • Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax.
  • Go to traditional restaurant in Zagreb. Recently celebrating its 100 years, the restaurant is probably one of the most authentic and traditional restaurants in northern Croatia.
  • Almost everything that is considered to be the best of Croatian gastronomy can be found in this restaurant that is also an essential part of the Zagreb urban lifestyle. The atmosphere is always homely, partly owing to the interior decorated in a rustic style, typical of the northern part of Zagreb.
  • Don’t miss having a stroll through the famous Lower town park Zrinjevac. The construction of the charming park has been a turning point in Zagreb’s urban development. The park is enlisted as a monument of landscape architecture due to its design that has been preserved for over a century

Day 2                                                             ZAGREB

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Today engage in an inspiring experience combining innovation, creativity and the thrill of moving ahead of the times. Experience one of the guided tours of Rimac factory to learn the process of creating new technologies and supercars of the 21st century.
  • In the romantic setting of Zagreb, walking by the millinery shops and vintage trams, one almost expects to be picked up by a horse carriage or at an old timer Model T. So, Rimac team offers an unforgettable drive in old timer cars. Nevertheless, incentive travel is about creating the future; therefore, the drive ends with a visit to the future – the awe-inspiring world of Rimac hyper cars.
  • Don’t miss to experience the city of Zagreb in a different way.
  • A stroll around the city led by guides dressed as 18th century residents will unquestionably take you back in time. You will hear stories and anecdotes from the city’s past and taste some delicious traditional biscuits along the way.
  • Continue discovering Zagreb on your own. 
  • In the evening, have a dinner at the famous restaurant and a wine bar, just a few minutes’ walk from the very center of the city.
  • Its interior is warm and contemporary, while its terrace has a beautiful view of the park and forest. Their philosophy is about offering an innovative dining concept which reflects a Mediterranean influence.
  • Overnight, Zagreb.

 

Day 3                     ZAGREB – PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK – SPLIT  

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • Meet your driver at the hotel lobby and head for a truly amazing and spectacular stop – the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
  • Stop at picturesque watermill village of Rastoke situated at the confluence of Slunjcica and Korana rivers. Stroll around the well-preserved watermills and picturesque waterfalls and admire the unique architecture of the houses built along the river. Continue to Plitvice Lakes. 
  • Upon arrival, explore Plitvice Lakes on your own.
  • The first Croatian national park and a UNESCO World Heritage site, Plitvice lakes offer its visitors a blend of vivid colors, sounds and smells that are spectacular and memorable. Its 16 cascading lakes and numerous waterfalls make up one of the greatest wonders of the world.
  • The lakes are a mesmerizing view of green and blue accompanied by the thundering sounds of the many waterfalls that connect the lakes to create a true paradise on Earth. 
  • We recommend lunch in a traditional restaurant. Try ham, “basa” cottage cheese, lamb under iron cover, grilled meats, baked potatoes, trout, sour milk, the Lika fritters, and the Lika strudels made of cheese, apple or plum, are just some of the specialties of this region.
  • Meet your driver and head to Split.
  • After checking in to your hotel, meet your local guide and head for Split sightseeing.
  • Your tour will cover the Diocletian’s Palace and the surrounding medieval highlights. Walk inside Diocletian’s Palace, once the summer residence of the Roman emperor Diocletian and you’ll see bars, restaurants and shops thriving amidst the atmospheric old walls where Split life has been going on since the 4th century.
  • Split has risen on the foundation of the palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian built in 305 AD. Various cultural monuments are located inside and outside the Diocletian’s Palace walls, as Renaissance Prokurative Square, noble family’s palaces, churches, galleries and museums.
  • During your tour have a Gala Roman dinner followed by traditional „klapa “songs.  
  • Overnight, Split.

 

Day 4                                                  SPLIT – HVAR – SPLIT  

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Head to the pier and embark a luxury yacht towards Hvar.
  • While cruising to Hvar enjoy some food and music.
  • Upon arrival, meet your representative, take buggy cars and experience the island of Hvar enjoying wonderful views and nature with a local guide and his stories about the island’s life, tasting the most outstanding lavender delicacies and local food on the island. You will discover the island in all its senses.
  • Later, have unforgettable lunch at a traditional konoba in the abandoned medieval village, two miles inland from the town Milna. This beautiful konoba, very quaint and peaceful, offers a stunning view of the limestone cliffs. Hear the story of the village, its history and why it got abandoned while eating some of the best local dishes on the island.
  • Hvar Town offers many cultural and historical sites – Renaissance cathedral, the oldest communal theater in Europe founded in 1612, Franciscan monastery, the Benedictine convent famous for their lace listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Španjola Fortress towering above the town.
  • Hvar walking city tour with visits to the Cathedral and Franciscan monastery followed by a walk up to Španjola
  • Fortress where you’ll enjoy a private get together with music, wine sampling, and snacks. 
  • After the tour, embark a yacht back to Split. 
  • The rest of the evening at leisure.
  • Overnight, Split. 

 

Day 5                                                 SPLIT – STON – DUBROVNIK  

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • Meet your driver and head to Ston
  • Admire the little village of Ston, famous for its magnificent city walls fortification complex dating back to the 14th century.
  • Have oyster experience & light lunch at the oyster’s farm. 
  • Sailing in a boat you will enjoy the untouched natural beauty of the protected ecosystem of Mali Ston bay, along with the sun and the sea in which many islets “are bathing”.
  • After tasting oysters, you will enjoy a traditional buzara with mussels caught from Mali Ston bay. This way you will engage in a unique and unforgettable gastronomic experience in the middle of oyster’s farm on the floating bar.
  • Afterwards, continue towards Dubrovnik which is an hour drive away.
  • Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

 

Day 6                                                          DUBROVNIK

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Meet your driver and transfer to Pile Gate, entrance to Dubrovnik Old Town. 
  • Upon arrival, meet your guide and head for a private exclusive Game of Thrones tour of Dubrovnik Old Town.
  • Experience King’s landing in all its glory when you visit filming sites for the Red Keep, docks of King’s Landing, Littlefinger’s Brothel, Farmers’ Market and many, many more.
  • Visit the Lovrijenac fort where numerous scenes were filmed and experience first-hand the famous Red Keep of
  • King’s Landing to learn about the evil exploits of King Joffrey.
  • Accompanied by our experienced guide, a Game of Thrones fan (that actually acted in the series as an extra), you will find out first-hand about the sets, actors and backstage intrigues of this popular series and next time you watch an episode of Game of Thrones, you can say you’ve been there.
  • Be inspired by a walk along the UNESCO landmark – ancient city walls that have protected a civilized, sophisticated republic for centuries. System of white stone walls constructed by forts, bastions, casemates, towers and detached forts 1.940 meter long.
  • You can take the revamped cable car ride up to Mt Srđ; marvel at the Mediterranean lifestyle and the interplay of light and stone; trace the rise and fall of Dubrovnik in museums replete with art and artefacts; exhaust yourself retracing history.
  • Be amazed with the breathtaking views of the Old City of Dubrovnik, the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea and the numerous islands.
  • In the evening, have a splendid dinner at Fine Restaurant. It is set within the great walls of Dubrovnik itself, overlooking the port with stunning views amidst the iconic Dubrovnik architecture.
  • Their approach is rooted in the heritage of Mediterranean cuisine. Famous chef pairs traditional flavors with surprising twist featuring locally sourced produce from Croatian regions. To bring warmth and knowledge to their service, their genuine staff will guide you through your dining experience
  • Overnight, Dubrovnik.

 

Day 7                                DUBROVNIK – KONAVLE – DUBROVNIK 

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Today spend the day on adrenaline group tour ATV quad-safari
  • The tour representative will pick you up from the hotel and will drive you to Konavle region where you will start your tour.
  • The safari instructor introduces the Can Am (Brp) quads to the guests-they are world renowned best off-road four-wheelers. Throughout the entire adventure there are four completely different terrains.
  • The tour begins in Konavle field and continues over the river Ljuta with an adrenaline rush, after which it passes through the wetlands and the plains of the Konavle field entering the picturesque village Cilipi, where we make our first stop, and the guests can visit the Konavle Country House and the church. The drive continues through the Konavle rocks geomorphological and hydrographic reserve. 
  • On the way back the guests are welcomed with snacks (local wine- red and white, sandwiches with cheese and prosciutto). At the end the driver will take you back to Dubrovnik.
  • Upon your arrival, have a private dinner on the 16th century ship, listening to ambient music, sipping champagne and listening to the tales of old is an authentic Dubrovnik-style experience that you can’t miss!
  • After the sunset, relax while sailing under the starlit sky and enjoy the moonlight reflecting on the Adriatic Sea
  • Overnight, Dubrovnik.

 

Day 8                                            DUBROVNIK DEPARTURE

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • Meet your driver and transfer to Dubrovnik airport.
