There’s no more famous celebrity couple in the world than Jay-Z and Beyoncé, and they recently travelled to Croatia to vacation on a luxury yacht in Cavtat. Befitting the planet’s most recognisable and famous couple they ended their a seven-day dream vacation in Croatia on a 107-meter long yacht, reported to be one of most expensive charters in the world. Before that, Beyoncé celebrated her 39th birthday on the island of Bisaga Mala, which is located next to Galesnjak – famous for its heart shape. To cap off her celebration, Queen B enjoyed a romantic dinner that was prepared by a famous two-Michelin-starred chef. The couple also sailed up around the gorgeous Kornati archipelago. This is not their first visit to Croatia – in 2011, Beyoncé and Jay-Z visited the island of Hvar when she was pregnant with Blue Ivy, and 2009 in they visited Dubrovnik. It’s clearly a favorite!
David Beckham Spotted In Hvar
British soccer superstar David and and his fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham enjoyed a family holiday on the beautiful Adriatic coastline in Croatia this summer, visiting the island of Hvar. David was seen on a jet ski with daughter Harper, while sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz also went for a ride. Earlier the family were seen hanging out on a beach where Becks, and the whole brood were there to enjoy stunning beaches, boats and sun bathing. As the Beckhams demonstrated, Croatia is perfect for families.
Magic Johnson Spotted Aboad His Superyacht
The LA Lakers legend enjoyed a vacation on the reportedly $150 million superyacht Aquila in August. After his morning run with his friend Magic happily posed for photos with fans. Magic visited the beautiful island of Hvar where he dined in the famous restaurant Gariful, which regularly attracts A-listers like Neil Patrick Harris and Tommy Hilfiger. In an Instagram post, Magic said of his trip: “I just got back from Croatia and we highly recommend it to anyone! The food was fantastic and the country is just beautiful!”
Owen Wilson Spotted in Dubrovnik
Zoolander and Starsky & Hutch star Owen Wilson visited Croatia in August with friends. When we say visited, we mean re-visited because the actor first experienced the country when he was filming the movie Bliss with Salma Hayek last year. And evidentally he couldn’t stay away – he was photographed exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site Old Town in the beautiful coastal town of Dubrovnik, often called the Pearl of the Adriatic.
