We are excited to announce the launch of our Familiarity (FAM) Trip, which will commence on October 1st, 2022. This eight day exclusive tour has been specifically curated for qualified agents, providing the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the wonders of Croatia. This experience will dive deep into the beauty and culture of the country, including Croatia’s rich history and famous regional dishes. There are limited spaces available, so be sure to apply for a spot on this tour before all of the spaces are filled!
Members of our team will be along for the journey as we share industry insights, well informed localized knowledge, and additional area-specific recommendations. Agents will also be able to experience first-hand how we attend to our guests as they travel with us.
Checking off all of the top sights throughout the country, this tour moves from North to South. The trip is full of some of Croatia’s most famous destinations, islands, ancient cities, UNESCO national parks, and historical sites. Below is a sneak preview of the FAM Tour and why each site is such an attractive and valuable visit.
The FAM Trip begins in Croatia’s capital, Zagreb. The city is full of historical architecture that dates back over 1,000 years. There are also more museums per square foot than any other city in the world. A short drive from Zagreb is Plitvice Lakes National Parks, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The national park is absolutely stunning with a series of 16 connecting lakes, waterfalls, natural dams, and caves.
Heading about halfway down the coast, the tour will make a stop in Zadar. The coastal town is known as the capital of North Dalmatia and most famous for its picturesque Old Town. This hidden gem is located off the beaten track, but is quite charming with a lot to see. Following a stop in Zadar, the tour visits Šibenik, a town full of fantastic features from Venetian times. This often overlooked tourist destination is home to the Cathedral of Saint James, which is another UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continuing along the coast is the city of Trogir, which is full of architectural influence from the Greeks, Romans, and Venetians. There are castles and city walls, making the entire city a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A more well-known location not too far from Trogir is the city of Split, which is the second largest city in Croatia. The city is steeped in history, with fantastic restaurants and bars and is a great central hub for traveling to nearby islands. Departing from Split, this tour hops aboard a ferry to the mesmerizing island of Hvar. With an array of stunning beaches and a vibrant entertainment scene, it is the perfect place to enjoy an unforgettable stay on the Adriatic Sea.
The trip concludes in Dubrovnik, often referred to as the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’. Dubrovnik is one of the best known destinations in the Mediterranean, let alone Croatia. It is full of pristine beaches, a labyrinth of cobblestone streets, and an endless choice of charming local cafes and restaurants.
