Day 1                                                 ZAGREB ARRIVAL

Itinerary: 

  • Arrival to Zagreb. Meet your Unlimited Croatia driver at the gate and transfer to the hotel.
  • Check in at the hotel and relax after long journey.
  • We suggest trying famous Zagreb “strukli” at the best place in Zagreb, in the dining room in one of the Zagreb Hotel.

Day 2                                              ZAGREB OLDTIMER TOUR

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Meet your guide and head for unforgettable Zagreb Upper and Lower town sightseeing tour with electric replica of legendary Ford model T.
  • Experience Zagreb in totally different way and go back to the beginning of 20th century. 
  • Your driver is also a guide and he will, while driving, tell you everything you need to know about history and legends of Zagreb Upper Town. You will get an overview of the Upper and Lower Town’s landmarks, and other key sights. As you speed along, your guide will tell you stories and provide historical context for the city’s landmarks.

Day 3                                                ZAGREB – LJUBLJANA 

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • Meet your driver and head for a 2h drive to Ljubljana.
  • Upon arrival, leave your belongings in the hotel and meet your Unlimited Croatia guide and enjoy a private guided walking tour of Ljubljana.
  • Stroll pass the Baroque Town Hall building, highlighted by its clock tower and the inner courtyard surrounded by pillars and arcades.
  • Continue to the Town Square, where you will see the famous Fountain of the Tree Rivers, which was originally designed in the second half of the 18th Century by the Italian Baroque sculptor Francesco Robba who was inspired by Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers on Piazza Navona in Rome. Next, go to the Town Square where you will see the Cathedral of St. Nicholas – a popular landmark designed in the early 18th century.
  • Afterwards, take the funicular which will take you to the top of medieval Castle Hill. The Ljubljana Castle offers some great views over the city and the surrounding countryside.

Day 4                LJUBLJANA – BLED LAKE – BOHINJ – LJUBLJANA

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Meet your Unlimited Croatia guide driver / guide and transfer to Bled lake.
  • Upon arrival walk along the Bled Lake and enjoy a romantic traditional Pletna boat ride only known in Bled. The Pletna boat is operated by the Pletna oarsman.
  • This profession is very respected as it cannot be performed just by anyone. Arrive to the small island in the middle of the lake and enjoy special energy flowing the island.
  • Perched atop a steep cliff rising 130 meters above the glacial Lake, Bled Castle is a symbol of Bled and Slovenia. The image of the castle forming a dramatic backdrop to the romantic island and the church on it has earned the resort worldwide recognition through the centuries. Castle terraces offer spectacular views of the lake and the island.

Day 5                   LJUBLJANA – JULIAN ALPS AREA – SOCA VALLEY – LJUBLJANA

Day 6                                      LJUBLJANA – POSTOJNA – PREDJAMA – ROVINJ 

Itinerary:

  • Afterwards, meet your private driver who will take you to Postojna Cave. 
  • The karst cave at Postojna, one of the largest in the world, is among Slovenia’s most popular attractions and its stalagmite and stalactite formations are unequalled anywhere.
  • The vast and fantastic jungles of rock formations are breathtaking and Bring a jacket and appropriate footwear; the air inside the caves is decidedly chilly.
  • Next is Predjama Castle, just 20min drive away.
  • Predjama Castle is one of the world’s most dramatic castles. Picturesque, magnificent, defiant, mysterious and impregnable, it has been dominating the surrounding area and it teaches a clear lesson: if you want to build an impregnable fortification, put it in the gaping mouth of a cavern halfway up a 123m cliff.

Day 7                                                    ROVINJ – PULA – ROVINJ

  • Take a walk around the ancient city where you can see all about the important monuments and the rich history of this town.
  • Remains of the ancient Roman times, the early Christianity, the times of Venice, Napoleon, Austria and Italy. Start with the Amphitheatre,  pass by the remains of the Hercules temple to the Cathedral, then to Forum Romanum with Augustus and Roma Temple and the City Hall.
  • After your exploration of the city of Pula, meet your driver and head for Rovinj.
  • Upon arrival, explore Rovinj with your guide.
  • Visiting the Church of St. Euphemia is an absolute must – this is the largest Baroque building in Istria. Built according to plans by Venetian architect Giovanni Dizzi, the bell
  • tower on the church is a copy of the one at St Mark’s Basilica in Venice and at 61 meters high is the tallest in Istria.
  • The Old Town itself is of course another must see, and a reflection of what Rovinj was like when it was all packed onto one crowded island. The narrow, winding, cobbled streets, crammed-together houses and buildings and picturesque squares allow you to spend a lovely afternoon ambling around at your leisure time.

Day 8                    ROVINJ – MOTOVUN – BUZET – OPATIJA  

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • Meet your driver and start your full day tour of the Istrian peninsula.
  • Your first stop is Motovun, one of the most charming places in Istria. Motovun is a captivating little town perched on a 277m hill in the Mirna River Valley. Within the walls, an atmospheric cluster of Romanesque and Gothic buildings houses a smattering of artist studios.
  • After your exploration of Motovun, head for the nearby city of Buzet known as the truffle center and start your truffle hunt experience. 
  • During your roaming for this delicacy, feel all the enchantments and beauties of the hunt, while the forest is quiet, comforting, and when adrenaline reaches its climax, due to the discovery of truffles. Friendly hosts will tell you all about truffles, the tradition of truffle hunting, and their truffle hunting dogs.
  • Tasting of truffle products will be prepared for you in beautiful surroundings, the products you can buy in their shop.

Day 9                   OPATIJA – PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK – ZADAR 

Itinerary:

  • Meet your driver and head for a truly amazing and spectacular stop – the Plitvice Lakes National Park
  • Upon arrival, explore Plitvice Lakes on your own.
  • The first Croatian national park and a UNESCO World Heritage site, Plitvice lakes offer its visitors a blend of vivid colors, sounds and smells that are spectacular and memorable. Its 16 cascading lakes and numerous waterfalls make up one of the greatest wonders of the world.
  • Embraced by high wooden mountains and fed by many small rivers, the lakes are a mesmerizing view of green and blue accompanied by the thundering sounds of the many waterfalls that connect the lakes to create a true paradise on Earth. 
  • Lunch highly recommended at traditional restaurant. A unique place with an ambience of a traditional house in Lika, in which authentic dishes are prepared. In the middle of the restaurant there is an open-hearth fireplace, where lamb is roasted on a spit, and where other food specialties from Lika are prepared “under iron cover”.
  • Ham, “basa” cottage cheese, lamb under iron cover, grilled meats, baked potatoes, trout, sour milk, the Lika fritters, and the Lika strudels made of cheese, apple or plum, are just some of the specialties of this renowned restaurant.
  • After Plitvice Lakes, continue towards Zadar.

Day 10                                        ZADAR – KRKA NATIONAL PARK – SPLIT 

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • Meet your guide and head for a private guided walking tour of this amazing historic town.
  • Visit sights from its long and turbulent history such as the church of St Donat, originally built in 9th century in Byzantine style.
  • The main city street – The Wide Street – or Kalelarga, together with modern architectural solutions of Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun are unique in the world.
  • Sea Organ is set within the perforated stone stairs that descend into the sea is a system of pipes and whistles that exudes wistful sighs when the movement of the sea pushes air through it. The effect is hypnotic, the mellifluous tones increasing in volume when a boat or ferry passes by. 
  • Also visit the Greeting to the Sun installation. This 22m-wide circle set into the pavement is filled with 300 multilayered glass plates that collect the sun’s energy during the day.
  • Together with the wave energy that makes the Sea Organ ’s sound, it produces a trippy light show from sunset to sunrise that’s meant to simulate the solar system.
  • Meet your driver at the hotel lobby and transfer to Krka National Park
  • Head for Skradin, a magical little village, nestling beneath the beautiful waterfalls at the mouth of the Krka River where it meets the sea. Embark a boat and head for Krka National Park
  • Stretching from the western foot of the Dinaric Range into the sea near Šibenik, the 73km Krka River and its wonderful waterfalls define the landscape of Krka National Park. With its seven waterfalls and a total drop in altitude of 242 m, the Krka is a natural and karst phenomenon.
  • The travertine waterfalls of the Krka River are the fundamental phenomenon of this river. Waterfalls that sparkle with silvery threads of water, amazing lush forest and thrilling sights make this a prime destination for any nature loving tourist. 
  • After Krka Waterfalls, free time for lunch on your own.
  • Meet your driver and head towards Split.
  • Upon arrival check in to your hotel, time at leisure and overnight.

 

Day 11                                               SPLIT – TROGIR – SPLIT 

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Meet your driver and guide and head for a 45-min ride to Trogir.
  • The tour will help you get to know the tiny and unique town of Trogir – beautifully set within medieval walls, its streets knotted and maze-like. It’s fronted by a wide seaside promenade lined with bars and cafes, and yachts in the summer.
  • Trogir is unique among Dalmatian towns for its profuse collection of Romanesque and Renaissance architecture along with its magnificent cathedral, earned a UNESCO World Heritage status in 1997.
  • Afterwards return to Split.
  • Upon arrival your tour will cover the Diocletian’s Palace and the surrounding medieval highlights.
  • Walk inside Diocletian’s Palace, once the summer residence of the Roman emperor Diocletian and you’ll see bars, restaurants and shops thriving amidst the atmospheric old walls where Split life has been going on since the 4th century. Split has risen on the foundation of the palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian built in 305 AD. 
  • After the tour, spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Riva Harbor, known as the Riva, sits right along the coast of the Adriatic Sea and is a place to relax, stop at a cafe, people watch, or grab a bite to eat. Palm trees line the walkway where you can enjoy beautiful views and watch the boats coming in and out of the harbor. Day or night, there is always something going on along the Riva! 
  • In the afternoon board your sailing boat for a sunset sailing to Solta island. Our sunset sailing trip from Split is perfect for those who want to spend time on the calm waves of the sea in the evening while enjoying nothing but the sounds of the peaceful nature and the Adriatic sea.
  • Return back to Split. Overnight.

 

Day 12                SPLIT – CETINA CANYON – SPLIT

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Afterwards, meet your driver and head for a full day adrenaline tour at unspoiled canyon Cetina river.
  • Upon arrival to the city of Omiš you will start your unforgettable rafting experience.
  • After three and a half hours of descending along the canyon of one of the most beautiful Croatian rivers, where you will see the ever changing scenery of caves, waterfalls and rapids, but also the calm parts of the river with rich vegetation and animal life, as well as bathing in the river and enjoying the beautiful nature of the protected canyon of the Cetina river, you will come to the finish situated in Kaštil slanica where you will have a delicious lunch
  • Enjoy traditional food as for example traditional Croatian meat dish “peka” (veal baked under iron bell for several hours before served). Homemade bread is offered daily.
  • Meet your driver and return to Split. 
  • Overnight.

 

Day  13                                                              SPLIT – HVAR 

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • Embark a catamaran to Hvar, 1h ride away.
  • Upon arrival leave your belongings at the hotel.
  • Meet your driver and head towards a family estate, of one of the best olive oil producers in Croatia in Vrisnik where you will experience a culinary picnic. Your meal will be prepared and served in a traditional island way.  
  • Return to your hotel and relax.
  • Later, meet your driver and experience the island of Hvar enjoying wonderful views and nature with a local guide and his stories about the island’s life, tasting the most outstanding lavender delicacies and local food on the island. You will discover the island in all its senses.
  • The tour starts with a drive from Hvar to Jelsa. There, savor the local ambience.
  • After we continue to short sightseeing Vrboska. Then visit the historical town of Stari Grad, a 2 400 years old town protected by UNESCO and  enjoy in a coffee break. Finish your visit driving by very interesting ‘lavender roads’ and visit Napoleon Fortress where your eyes will be fully open for beautiful scenery pictures. 
  • After the tour,  have an unforgettable dinner at a traditional „konoba“ in the abandoned medieval village, two miles inland from the town Milna.
  • This beautiful restaurant, very quaint and peaceful, offers a stunning view of the limestone cliffs. Hear the story of the village, its history and why it got abandoned while eating some of the best local dishes on the island.
  • Return to Hvar. Time at leisure. Overnight.

 

Day 14                 HVAR – BLUE AND GREEN CAVES – HVAR

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • This morning goes for a full day private tour of the Blue & Green Cave, Stiniva Cove & Palmižana beach.  
  • 1st stop: Blue Cave, on Biševo island. Along the way, the sea cliffs and island views are spectacular.
  • After reaching Biševo (Blue Cave island) we will disembark from our speedboat into the Blue Cave’s shuttle craft which will take us directly inside.
  • 2nd stop: Stiniva Cove; a hidden lagoon, where you can enjoy swimming among the breathtaking cliffs of the lagoon.
  • 3rd stop: This takes you to Ravnik Island and the Green Cave where we will stop for a short swimming break.
  • 4th stop:  Pakleni Islands with famous Palmižana where you can enjoy lunch at some of the best island restaurants in Croatia.
  • Some of the places are  known for its catch of the day sea food lunch. Owned by a passionate fisherman himself, it’s always delicious!
  • Or Lounge bar/restaurant , where you can sit just a few feet from the sea and enjoy a great meal. Or if your taste runs to the more formal and fancier, you will be delighted by the fine food dining at traditional Restaurant.
  • Afterwards, enjoy swimming and sunbathing until 6PM.
  • End of the tour. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 15                                                       HVAR – KORCULA

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at hotel and check out.
  • After checking out, head for Hvar pier to embark on a catamaran that will transfer you to the island and town of Korcula.
  • Upon arrival, leave your things at the hotel.
  • Meet your local guide and explore romantic Dalmatian town on foot with guide who will share all the secrets of this medieval town.
  • Most of Korcula was built in the 15th century when locals were renowned throughout the Adriatic for their stone-carving skills. The center of the town is dominated by the splendid St Mark’s Cathedral.
  • The Gothic-Renaissance style is superb, and the interior features the Pietà by Ivan Mestrovic, Croatia’s most famous sculptor. Walk along the ancient walls that surround the city and pay a visit to the birthplace of the famed traveler Marco Polo. 
  • After the tour meet your driver and head towards local traditional konoba for lunch where you will be able to taste homemade traditional food. Everything from cured meats to pasta to cheese comes from the family’s land.
  • In the evening, we suggest going to Maksimilijan Garden.
  • It is a cozy bar that has the best views in town for catching the sunset. Add in their local limoncello and wines and it is a perfect spot to grab a few drinks.
  • Overnight.

 

Day 16                                          KORČULA – STON – DUBROVNIK

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • Meet your hotel assistance and head to the pier to embark on a 15-minute boat ride to Peljesac (Orebic).
  • Upon arrival, continue towards Ston, an hour and a half drive away.
  • Admire the little village of  Ston, famous for its magnificent city walls fortification complex dating back to the 14th century.
  • Next is a spectacular gourmet tour where you will have a chance to learn about the production of these world-famous delicacies.
  • Your host will take you on a boat ride to his oyster farm on the sea where you will get a chance to learn about oyster production. Taste the oysters fresh out of the sea or try to open one on the spot. Drizzle a little lemon juice on them and have a taste of the sea. 
  • After the boat tour, head towards the restaurant in Ston for a great traditional sea food lunch.
  • Afterwards, enjoy a tour of the winery and casual tasting. This winery is one of the oldest and best in Croatia where you can taste a selection of wines.
  • After the tour at the winery, continue towards Dubrovnik which is an hour drive away.
  • Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and enjoy some time at leisure.

Day 17                                         DUBROVNIK            ELAFITI ISLANDS – DUBROVNIK

  • Regardless of whether you are visiting Dubrovnik for the first time or the hundredth, the sense of awe never fails to descend when you set eyes on the beauty of the old town. Indeed, it’s hard to imagine anyone becoming jaded by the city’s marble streets, baroque buildings and the endless shimmer of the Adriatic.
  • Be inspired by a walk along the UNESCO landmark – ancient city walls that have protected a civilized, sophisticated republic for centuries. System of white stone walls constructed by forts, bastions, casemates, towers and detached forts 1.940 meter long.
  • After the tour, time at leisure to further explore Dubrovnik on your own.
  • Take the revamped cable car ride up to Mt Srđ; marvel at the Mediterranean lifestyle and the interplay of light and stone; trace the rise and fall of Dubrovnik in museums replete with art and artefacts; exhaust yourself retracing history.
  • Be amazed with the breathtaking views of the Old City of Dubrovnik, the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea and the numerous islands.

Day 18                                       DUBROVNIK          PERAST – KOTOR – DUBROVNIK  

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Early morning excursion to Montenegro, the neighboring tiny country that’s said to be one of Europe’s best-kept secrets. 
  • Arrival to Perast. Meet your local guide and start sightseeing.
  • Looking like a chunk of Venice that has floated down the Adriatic and anchored itself onto the bay, Perast hums with melancholy memories of the days when it was rich and powerful. 
  • Visit Our Lady of the Rocks as it is one of Montenegro’s most popular attractions. It’s a unique island church set just in front of Perast – a UNESCO Heritage protected town.
  • Continue towards Kotor.
  • Arrival to Kotor and start your sightseeing tour with a local guide. Kotor – wedged between brooding mountains and a moody corner of the bay, this dramatically beautiful town is perfectly at one with its setting. Its sturdy walls – started in the 9th century and tweaked until the 18th – arch steeply up the slopes behind it. Within those walls lie labyrinthine marbled lanes where churches, shops, bars and restaurants surprise you on hidden piazzas.

Day 19                   DUBROVNIK – CAVTAT – KONAVLE REGION – DUBROVNIK 

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Morning free at leisure. 
  • In the afternoon you will have a private full day tour of Cavtat and Konavle region and a cooking class
  • Meet your private driver and transfer to Cavtat
  • Upon arrival meet your local guide and head for sightseeing.
  • The beauty of its nature, green lush vegetation, beaches and interesting monuments attract numerous visitors.
  • Cavtat’s most famous personality is the painter Vlaho Bukovac (1855–1922), one of the foremost exponents of Croatian modernism. His paintings are liberally distributed around the town’s main sights. 
  • Afterwards, enjoy a scenic journey to the picturesque region of Konavle, home to around 30 picturesque villages that have settled among the verdant natural beauty.
  • Continue towards a village, to an estate owned by a local family who have preserved its traditional way of life as it once was.

Day 20                                    DUBROVNIK – BLAGAJ – MOSTAR – DUBROVNIK

Itinerary:

  • Please have your passports with you for border crossing.
  • Upon arrival to Blagaj, have some leisure to  enjoy Blagaj
  • Blagaj town is home to Buna river spring – Europe’s most beautiful, most powerful, clean and drinkable karst river spring, settled beneath few hundred meters high rock.
  • Water comes out of quite large but stunningly deep cave, which springs amazing 43 cubic meters of water per second.   • After Blagaj, meet your driver and head for Mostar. Upon arrival, meet your local guide for sightseeing.
  • Mostar is hugely important Ottoman style cultural and religious town in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Admire Mostar’s Old Bridge – the 16th-century bridge built by famous Sultan Sulejman that was destroyed in the 1990s Bosnian war, but rebuilt to in 2004 – symbolizing unity between the town’s Muslims and Catholics.
  • Visit the Mosque of Mostar and the town’s famous Turkish House that shows a fascinating insight into Ottoman life.
  • Free time for lunch and some time at leisure.
  • Afterwards, meet your driver and head back for Dubrovnik.
  • Upon arrival, time at leisure and overnight. 

 

Day 21                                   DUBROVNIK DEPARTURE

Itinerary:

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
  • Meet your driver at the hotel lobby for a private transfer to Dubrovnik airport to catch your flight onward.
