Here are a few of favorites to add to your list:
Carpe Diem Bar Croatia, Hvar
Discover one of the finest bars on the island of Hvar. This unique bar is located on the harbor inside the old town and gives guests a luxurious experience as they sip drinks on the seafront terrace, surrounded by mesmerizing sea views. Expect palm trees, ancient stone architecture, unique cocktails enjoyed by world-famous celebrities and the soft Mediterranean breeze cooling you from warming the sun above.
This bar is open throughout the day, so it is possible to enjoy this bar however you see fit. Whether you want a morning coffee with a spectacular sea view to kickstart your day or to party until sundown, you can do that right here at Carpe Diem Bar. The terrace is open until 2am most evenings and has live music playing for guests to enjoy in the lounge. Truly one of the best beach bars in Croatia and worth adding to your list of places to visit when traveling to Hvar. It is open from May and throughout the summer months, so ensure you check its opening times before traveling.
Buža Bar Croatia, Dubrovnik
Buža Bar is an oceanside bar with a twist. Located on the cliffside of Dubrovnik, the bar overlooks the Adriatic Sea giving guests panoramic views of the coastline, the historic island of Lokrum and the ocean below. This unique bar has tables scattered across the edge of the cliff for guests to sit and drink at. It is considered a bit of a hole-in-the-wall bar, but this may be due to the fact that you have to enter through a literal hole in the wall to arrive at this popular swimming spot and relaxing bar.
We recommend waiting for a remarkable sunset view. Nothing beats a cold drink and the marvelous sunsets in this fantastic location. Just look out for the sign that reads ’cold drinks with a view this way’ and you won’t miss it. Be warned, it’s incredibly popular so ensure you arrive early to avoid disappointment. However, there are two Buža Bars only a short walk away from each other in Dubrovnik, so make sure you check out both.
Buža Bar Croatia is only open during the spring and summer months.
Teraca Vidilica Croatia, Split
See the city of Split from a new perspective! High above the terracotta rooftops tucked away on Marjan Hill lies a special bar, Teraca Vidilica. Boasting sensational views of the city skyline, expect romantic sunsets and a calming atmosphere as the night closes over the city. It is easy to lose track of time in this peaceful rooftop bar as you watch the bustling seaside town turn into an array of twinkling lights.
The menu features an array of Mediterranean dishes and is a great introduction to delicious Croatian cuisine. Open from May to October for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Cave Bar More Croatia, Dubrovnik
It’s time to take things below ground – way below…
Hidden under the city streets of Dubrovnik lies one of the most hidden bars in Croatia – Cave Bar More. It can only be reached through Hotel More or by the promenade that stretches above the Cave Bar. The bar itself extends over 3 floors and is situated in a backdrop of natural cave walls as they drink and dine. Expect soothing tunes to accompany you whilst you relax in the natural surroundings.
Outside, the bar has an adjoining beach area for guests to relax and watch the ocean waves crash against the city walls of Dubrovnik. It serves a mix of drinks to choose from – freshly made cocktails made with premium alcohol, wine, beer soft drinks; Cave Bar More has it all. It can be visited anytime for breakfast, lunch or dinner, but it is important to note that they do not take reservations, so make sure you arrive early to secure a seat and avoid disappointment.
Cocktail Bar Bolero, Bol

Relax with a refreshing drink in hand as you escape from the summer heat in the deep shade of the surrounding pine trees.
